Dr Mercè Boy Roura is an Environmental Scientist, PhD in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability.
Her research topic focused on the evaluation of diffuse pollution in groundwater (in particular nitrates and emerging contaminants) in agricultural areas and aquifer vulnerability assessment. At the BETA Technological Center, she is currently the project technical coordinator of the MED Green Growth community in the frame of the Interreg MED programme.
Moreover, she collaborates with different research and transference projects about the assessment of nitrogen and pharmaceuticals removal of manure treatment plants and the impact of agriculture on groundwater and soil resources quality.
